Styling for a Woodland / Forest family photoshoot
I am asked often what a family should wear to a family photoshoot and my usually piece of advice is to be comfortable and yet don’t be afraid to dress up. I started to think how I could help with every clients experience by giving more thorough advice and so got in touch with a local stylist from Tunbridge, Kent.
I had the pleasure of doing an Instagram Live with Camilla Jayne from @yourstylecurator. Our discussion was based around choosing which colour pallet would work well in a Woodland setting or a the beach when dressing your family in order to be coordinating rather than matching.
Camilla Jayne went through different colour pallets that would work well in the Forest and we discussed Jewel tones and how they would stand out amongst the trees and woodlands.
It is always a great idea to choose one outfit first, and then go from there so it all blends well together. It is also a good idea to steer clear of bright neon colours or too many patterns/logos.
