Why you should not wait to take those family photos...
Just recently I did some online market research by asking people what held them back from having their family photographs. The results were so interesting.
Pricing was one answer, which didn’t surprise me really. Especially this year I think people are really thinking about what they want to invest in.
Was time. It does take time to organise a photo shoot. From actually researching which photographer to choose to finalising a date. Then there is choosing an outfit and getting everyone to the venue. I understand, that is A LOT to think about !
But the thing that came up the most, which really made me feel quite sad was that people (primarily mothers) weren’t booking photoshoots because of how THEY felt about they way they looked.
Then I realised I am the same. I am the first one to put myself down or look at a photo of myself an criticise it! Do you know what though, your children, your family DO NOT see you how you see you. To have photos all together as a family is just so precious and life is just too short. Yes we want to feel amazing in our photos, and I will do my very best to deliver you a gallery you love but I cannot guarantee you’ll love every photo of yourself. Not because you don’t look amazing but because of how we view ourselves!
So lets put on those positive pants, dress up, show up and get those family photos done !!
